The only problem with this mode is that the person with the most winning cards after the discard phase will be the last person standing. So be careful who gets to stay and who gets to join the posse.

To make sure that your opponent does not get out of control, you can try setting up the table for a lowball game. Setting up a lowball game simply means that you have the Octgn placed at a very high value on the play menu. Each time the opposing team plays, they will need to spend some time occupying the Octgn and trying to draw cards from it. Since the Octgn is worth so much and is used to play against the lowball team, it makes sense that they would want it to be an area of the board where they do not want to have to spend time occupying.

A good way to play against a tight opponent is to use the lowball tactic. This will force your opponent to spend some time trying to get their own cards and hopefully yours as well from the lowball pile. Once your opponent spends time trying to get cards, they will need to spend time trying to build up their own pile of cards and shift their hand ranks to regain control of the octagon.
